Solum Regeneration, a partnership between Network Rail and Kier Property, has announced it will start the second phase of development work at Walthamstow Central station by the end of the year.
The work will see 79 residential apartments created and £1 million invested to improve the station car park and a site at the junction of Hoe Street and Selbourne Road.
Developers say the work will reinforce the station as a gateway into Walthamstow, focus on environmental enhancements and create 120 jobs.
