Third Invest Waltham Forest published

by Marco Cillario Mon 27 February 2017, 11:33 am

The third issue of Invest Waltham Forest magazine has been published.

The new edition of the business publication, about development and regeneration schemes in the borough, explores the economic benefits of green spaces (Natural capital) and presents how the council is weaving local history and culture into new development schemes, with Walthamstow being a microcosm of the challenges London is facing, such as gentrification (Welcome Home).

Special sections focus on the reopening of Lea Bridge station in May 2016 after 30 years (New connections); the William Morris Museum, named after the Walthamstow-born artist and socialist activist (A design for life); and the rise of microbreweries in the borough (Something brewing).

The magazine will also look at how the council and organisations in the borough are making use of sites that are being developed through “meanwhile use” (No time to waste).
