The Barbican, Create London and Waltham Forest Council has announced the initial line-up for the fifth Walthamstow Garden Party, this July.
The three-day festival, which starts on 13 July, features local acts, as well as musicians from across the globe performing on the Barbican Music stage.
The line-up includes Columbian electronic duo Cero39, the London African Gospel Choir, dub music producer Adrian Sherwood and Creation Rebel and Malian singer Fatoumata Diawara.
Festival-goers can also take clothes-making lessons, watch dance shows from local groups, listen to poetry performances and buy food and drink from local producers and urban growers.
Clare Coghill, leader of Waltham Forest Council, said: "Walthamstow Garden Party is a fantastic celebration of Waltham Forest’s thriving culture and communities. We are excited to see such an excellent line-up for the fifth edition, in particular some of the areas curated by artists living and working in the borough, which demonstrate why the mayor of London chose Waltham Forest to be the first-ever London Borough of Culture."
