Uplifting Invest event held at the heart of our Creative Enterprise Zone
Cllr Khan and Cllr Ashworth attended an uplifting ‘Invest in Waltham Forest’ roundtable dinner last week, kindly hosted by Eversleigh LLP and Ackroyd Lowrie. Hosted at the unique SlowBurn within Blackhorse Ateliers, the event saw a diverse mix of investors, developers, partners and local businesses. Attendees explored Blackhorse Collective, our borough’s first Creative Enterprise Zone, and hear about how Waltham Forest has transformed over the last ten years.
The evening was the perfect opportunity to learn more about the local area of Blackhorse Lane home to the boroughs Creative Enterprise Zone and wider regeneration of the borough. Blackhorse Lane area represents the largest transformation change seen in the Borough to date over the last 10 years set within a unique location alongside Europe’s largest urban wetlands, Walthamstow Wetlands. Walthamstow’s West side is fast becoming a creative, art and food hub amidst its impressive new housing zones.
