I am so proud of what we have achieved over the last 10 years from building our legacy of being the first Borough of Culture, to growing Waltham Forest as an attractive destination to live, work and visit.
In 2023, we were awarded with the highest amount of levelling up funding from the DLUHC (Department of Levelling Up Housing and Communities) of any London borough and are set to receive £39.m. These will improve Leyton Tube Station, Walthamstow Town Centre, Chingford Mount and Highams Park.
